Data Removal Authorization

WALTA DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED, doing business as Wiseguard
This Data Removal Authorization Agreement ("Authorization," "Agreement," or "Authorization Agreement") is entered into by and between the individual accepting this Agreement ("User," "you," or "your") and WALTA DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED, doing business as Wiseguard ("Wiseguard," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").
This Agreement governs Wiseguard's authority to act on your behalf in connection with privacy protection services, data broker opt-outs, information suppression requests, deletion requests, and related privacy-related activities.
By accepting this Agreement, you expressly authorize Wiseguard to perform the activities described herein.
1Purpose of This Authorization
Wiseguard provides privacy protection services designed to help individuals reduce the availability, visibility, accessibility, and distribution of personal information across certain publicly accessible sources and commercial information providers.
To provide such Services, Wiseguard may need authority to communicate with third parties on your behalf. This Agreement grants Wiseguard limited authorization to perform such activities.
2Appointment of Authorized Agent
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby appoint Wiseguard as your authorized agent, representative, and designee solely for the limited purposes described in this Agreement. This authorization includes authority to:
- Submit opt-out requests
- Submit deletion requests
- Submit suppression requests
- Submit privacy requests
- Submit access requests where necessary
- Request removal of personal information
- Request restriction of processing
- Request correction of information
- Request removal from search results where available
- Communicate with data brokers
- Communicate with people-search websites
- Communicate with public records aggregators
- Communicate with commercial information providers
- Communicate with website operators
- Communicate with privacy compliance departments
- Communicate with designated privacy officers
- Respond to verification requests
- Provide information reasonably necessary to process requests
This authorization is limited exclusively to privacy-related activities associated with the Services.
3Scope of Authorization
You authorize Wiseguard to act on your behalf solely for purposes of:
Data Broker Removal
Submitting requests to data brokers and information resellers.
People Search Removal
Submitting requests to people-search websites and public profile services.
Public Information Suppression
Submitting requests intended to reduce public exposure of personal information.
Privacy Rights Requests
Submitting requests under applicable privacy laws.
Monitoring and Follow-Up
Monitoring request status and conducting follow-up communications.
Verification Activities
Providing information necessary to verify identity or authority.
4Information Authorized for Disclosure
You acknowledge and agree that Wiseguard may disclose information necessary to complete privacy-related requests. Such information may include:
- Full name
- Previous names
- Email addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Residential addresses
- Historical addresses
- Date of birth
- Account identifiers
- Public profile information
- Information located on target websites
- Authorization documentation
- Verification information
Wiseguard shall determine, in its reasonable discretion, what information is necessary to process requests.
5User Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
Authority
You are the individual whose information is the subject of the request or otherwise possess lawful authority to act on behalf of such individual.
Accuracy
All information provided to Wiseguard is accurate, complete, and current.
Lawful Purpose
The Services are being used solely for lawful purposes.
Authorization
You possess authority to grant the rights described in this Agreement.
No Fraud
You are not submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized requests.
6Third-Party Requirements
You acknowledge that third parties may require:
- Additional identity verification
- Government-issued identification
- Signed declarations
- Affidavits
- Additional authorizations
- Proof of residency
- Proof of ownership of information
Wiseguard may request such documentation from you where necessary. Failure to provide requested documentation may prevent Wiseguard from completing certain requests.
7No Guarantee of Removal
You expressly acknowledge that Wiseguard does not own data broker databases, does not control third-party websites, search engines, or public records, and cannot compel compliance by third parties.
Accordingly, Wiseguard does not guarantee:
- Removal of information
- Suppression of information
- Delisting of information
- Deindexing of information
- Permanent deletion
- Permanent removal
- Permanent opt-out status
All Services are provided on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis.
8Reappearance of Information
You acknowledge that information may reappear after removal due to:
- Republishing by third parties
- New data collection
- Data broker refresh cycles
- Public record updates
- Search engine indexing
- Data licensing arrangements
- Independent third-party actions
Wiseguard shall not be liable for the reappearance of information after successful removal.
9Privacy Rights Requests
Where permitted by applicable law, Wiseguard may submit requests under:
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act (India)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- UK GDPR
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
- California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
- Other applicable privacy laws
Wiseguard shall determine the appropriate legal basis for requests in its reasonable discretion.
10Electronic Authorization
You agree that:
- Electronic signatures
- Electronic acceptance
- Checkbox consent
- Digital acknowledgements
- Online confirmations
shall constitute legally valid authorization equivalent to a handwritten signature. This authorization may be retained electronically.
11Term of Authorization
This authorization shall remain effective until the earliest of:
- Termination of your Wiseguard account
- Expiration of your subscription
- Revocation by you
- Termination by Wiseguard
- Completion of applicable Services
Certain requests initiated prior to termination may continue until completed.
12Revocation of Authorization
You may revoke this authorization by submitting written notice to privacy@wiseguard.ai.
Revocation shall apply prospectively only. Revocation shall not affect:
- Previously submitted requests
- Previously completed actions
- Actions already underway
- Legal obligations arising before revocation
Wiseguard may require identity verification before processing revocation requests.
13Limitation of Authority
Nothing in this Agreement authorizes Wiseguard to:
- Enter contracts on your behalf
- Incur financial obligations on your behalf
- Access financial accounts
- Access government accounts
- Access email accounts
- Access social media accounts
- Make legal representations unrelated to privacy services
- Initiate litigation
- Settle legal claims
Wiseguard's authority is strictly limited to privacy-related activities described herein.
14Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wiseguard shall not be liable for denied, delayed, incomplete, or rejected requests, third-party noncompliance, data reappearance, search engine indexing, public record availability, or third-party actions or omissions.
Wiseguard's aggregate liability under this Agreement shall be governed by the limitations contained in the Wiseguard Terms of Service.
15Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wiseguard and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from and against claims arising from:
- False information provided by you
- Unauthorized use of Services
- Misrepresentation of authority
- Fraudulent requests
- Violations of law
- Breach of this Agreement
16Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
17Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the dispute resolution provisions contained in the Wiseguard Terms of Service, which are incorporated herein by reference.

19Acknowledgement and Authorization
By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read this Data Removal Authorization Agreement; understand the rights granted herein; authorize Wiseguard to act as your limited authorized agent for the purposes described above; authorize disclosure of information necessary to process requests; acknowledge that results cannot be guaranteed; understand that third parties may reject, deny, or delay requests; and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
